This is what most people are asking for and finally Skype have released it.

Yes, Skype is available on android phones from now. So basically you can be in touch with people when you are out.

You can download the application from skype.com/m.

With the new application we can make free Skype to Skype calls, and send and receive IMs for free, one to one or in group.

To make calls to phones abroad, simply dial number in Skype and pay with a Skype credit or we can make unlimited calls with subscription.

You can download Skype from Android market or from skype.com/m on your phone. You require Android OS 2.1 or later to use the application.
